Stress, anxiety, depression and mood disorders

Stress: Is your life burdened by stress, due to our fast paced society, or circumstances that feel beyond your control?

Social Anxiety: Are you uncomfortable meeting new people, being in crowds, or speaking in front of people?

General Anxiety: Do you feel generally anxious about everything, or for no real reason? Are you plagued by worry?

Depression: Do you suffer from depression? Do you have trouble feeling motivated? Is feeling sad interfering with your relationships?

Panic: Do you have physical symptoms such as rapid heart beat, sweaty palms, feeling dizzy, or nauseated?

Mood Swings: Do you suffer from extreme PMS (called premenstrual dysphonic disorder), bipolar or another mood disorder? Are mood swings disrupting your work and causing problems in your relationships?

Fears and Phobias: Do you have fears about leaving the house, specific places, experiences, or things? Are you having trouble getting over a past fearful experience (PTSD)?

Test or Performance Anxiety: Do you have difficulty performing at your best? Managing your anxiety is a big part of passing, scoring high and getting that opportunity.

Obsessions and compulsions (OCD): Do you struggle with anxiety characterized by intrusive thoughts that produce uneasiness, or worry, by repetitive behaviors aimed at reducing the anxiety, or by a combination of such obsessions and compulsions?

My Approach to Therapy: Through education and discovery of the type of stress, anxiety, depression or mood disorder you suffer from, we will explore your strengths and learn new skills you can use to overcome these limitations and improve your relationships and quality of life. It is my goal for you to take away from our sessions together a greater ability to self-reflect or in other words do therapy on yourself.
